What I’m working on now · September 2026

Theonix went live in Rutgers Health classroom use this month, which is the line between a demo and a product. We’re now extending the platform past medicine into other work where procedures have protocols and getting them right matters.

At Adorama, most of my attention is on agentic shopping. Discovery and buying are moving inside assistants like Gemini and Perplexity, where the customer never sees a page of blue links and the real question is whether your catalog is legible to a model. That is a different discipline from search, and we are learning it in public like everyone else.

Locally, I’m in driver training with the Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and running for the Board of Education in November.

Where I stand

Three things I believe, and keep testing

On AI

Judgment is the product, not the bottleneck

I buy enterprise AI at Adorama and build clinical AI at Theonix, where a wrong answer touches a patient. Both sides taught me the same thing: the systems that work expand what a person can decide well. The ones that fail try to decide for them.

On humanity

Expertise should not depend on geography

A surgeon’s judgment took decades to build and currently exists only where that surgeon is standing. Most of the world is somewhere else. Making guidance travel to the rural clinic, the underserved hospital, the field, is the problem worth spending a career on.

On public service

Institutions deserve the same rigor as products

Schools, boards and volunteer corps run on the same things products do: clear decisions, honest measurement, communication that reaches people who aren’t already paying attention. Most of what I know how to do transfers directly.
